Description of Typhon East Polypropylene Resistant Paracord

DESIGNED FOR DURABILITY: Unlike other ropes filled with non-woven fabric that quickly rots when exposed to water and the sun, ours is made using actual polyester braided cords covered with polypropylene. Get a heavy duty nylon rope. TOUGHNESS YOU’LL LOVE: With a maximum tensile strength of 900lbs, this 3/8inch x 100ft rope brings on the toughness to handle most jobs. It has a core of 4 cords and is designed to be low stretch and to offer good knot retention. (Safe working load= 180lbs/ not for use with overweight loads). MULTI-PURPOSE GOODNESS: The beauty of a high-strength paracord like this one? The ability to use it for just about anything. It makes a great flag pole rope, clothes hanging line, tug of war cord, a tie down for securing shelters while camping, a rope for setting up hammocks and so much more. MUST-HAVE TOOL: You never know just when a general purpose rope might come in handy. Get one for your home garage, car or boat, throw one with the rest of your camping gear or backpacking supplies when prepping for that hiking trip, and experience utility you’ll love. 100% MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE: At Typhon East, we believe in old-fashioned service and the best quality. If you are dissatisfied with your thick polypropylene rope, please reach out to us and we’ll issue a full refund. Click ‘Add to Cart’ now to sample impressive durability and toughness 100% risk-free!.

Junk, DO NOT BUY: Hardware

Simply photographed of a hand pulling on the branches of a tree. Tension is not strong, burst several times. Absolute waste of money!

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • It's OK

900 lbs my a$$ - Hardware

I tied this to a branch I cut to fall off the house. He was towed away with a trucker hitch and ripped faster than Uncle Toot on Chili Day. I think it's good for a clothing line, but no more.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Some imperfections

Less than 100 lbs broken while hanging

I was pulling something with a pulley and the rope broke in the middle (not near the knot or anywhere near the pulley) in less than 100#s. Something is clearly wrong with my load of rope.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Some small things

Read the fine print. Very light weight for easy use

Good to read. This is for light weight. The description and name emphasize the 900 pound tensile strength. But 1 line of text at a smaller size and lighter color adds a "safe weight of 180 pounds". It feels like a clothesline. Bought for swings. To return.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure

The braided sheath does not fit, the rope is strong as advertised.

The rope is functional. Has no excessive stretch. The inner rope consists of several individual twisted strands, not just the fluffy filling material of most other ropes. The only problem is the fabric. This can wear out the inner strand of the rope when bending or twisting. That's why I give it a 4.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • old

Fantastic rope! in Tarps & Tie-Downs

This rope is great, our Summer Waves pool rope wasn't good enough to hold the pool up so we put this rope in our summer pool cover to tidy it up. to get a tighter grip and it worked really well. I really recommend this rope. We used pool rope to guide the rope inside the pool cover. Then he took out the rope and left the rope inside. Now the wind has met its rival.

Pros
  • Decent Performance
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Cheap Rope Really!

Purchased 2-100 feet. Just unpack both quickly. Found this place about 30 feet from the end. Looks like 1 full roving. Through my experience. I would say it was a roving laid on top of each other. Too bad they didn't at least tie the two ends together. At least it will be real splicing. In order not to have such a weak point as I have here now. This rope is 5/16", not 3/8". I use it for lifting and binding. This will work for me (I HOPE! OR I'll have an expensive F-Up!) Of course! "Buy cheap…

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cord shorter than others
