Good player: home audio

Maple wood and simple design make Mr. Vage attractive. And it sounds great too! Now if we just get Mr. Vage's music on vinyl?

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Minor problems

Excellent entry-level turntable

Excellent entry-level turntable. I've had it since December 2018 and it sounds really great. So far no mechanical problems. Featuring an Ortofon 2m Blue pickup, a custom tube phono preamp and a triode single ended tube amp. Pure analog bliss!

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • There are nuances

The turntable is beautiful, well packaged and sounds great

The turntable is beautiful, well packaged and sounds great. Customer service is excellent. Made in Massachusetts from Wisconsin wood. Something about it makes me feel good. I will continue to shop with this company as often as possible.

Pros
  • Beautiful
Cons
  • Some small things

Still noisy, Revain tech support NO

I tried to work with U-Turn through Revain tech support but to no avail. Get more advice, e.g. B. Make sure the cables are connected, maybe try a new cable. I wouldn't do Revain again in the future due to false security, I finally got the excuse and now the time to go back is over.

Pros
  • Done
Cons
  • This makes me nervous

Excellent player for home audio

This player exceeded all my expectations. Sounds noticeably better than my retired 25 year old Denon. There is no motor noise whatsoever, the pickup sounds clean and this heavy turntable has no resonances or feedback, even with very loud bass drum passages (rush). It also looks beautifully finished. The only drawback is that there is no 45 middle part in the kit, I have to order it.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • A number of factors

Simple console with high quality audio output

Pros: * easy setup, less than 5 minutes * pre-calibrated tonearm * built-in anti-skating * great pickup (imo) * great base * acrylic disc Cons: * rigid head shell * rigid VTF * rubber Tonearm mount *Pre-installed RCA cables can be upgraded immediately *45 will definitely unduly stretch the belt if it doesn't return to the 33 RPM position soon after (secondary special belt [$5 per belt] will likely solve the problem , if you have a significant number of 45 matches)

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish

Very well built. fits turntable and accessories

As the name suggests, this turntable is very well built but lacks a few key features. The missing features focus more on convenience than the need for a sound system - auto-cruise control and auto-stop in the beat groove. Not critical but something to consider for future updates. Still, the Orbit Special is a fairly premium system, the perfect entry point into the world of audiophile audio gear at a fairly attractive price point.

Movement with quality!

Amazing packaging! Great assembly instructions! Customer service from the start with a nice welcome card! Sounds clear and detailed. Cool factory look! I love the belt idea. You just have to be careful when removing the record that you don't remove the strap with your fingers. So I just learned how to move the strap down a bit so I don't do it. .for example, the fact sheet stops as soon as you turn it off so you can take the record with you, so happy to support an innovative American company…

Pros
  • I hold my fists
Cons
  • Too long to wait

Absurd belt design. No thank you.

I was glad to get one of these after having a cheap Audio Technica for a few years and this turntable makes me miserable. Why? This belt design is completely absurd to me. I've seen other turntables with a wider rubber band going around a spindle mounted on the outside of the platter like they did on this deck, but instead of being flat and wide the band is tubular (for lack of a better one Possibility). To put it bluntly.) You actually have to move the belt between tiers of this stupid spindle

Pros
  • Positive only
Cons
  • Will do

I liked this player. I was in the market for TT$400, did the usual research, reviews, lots of reviews. I thought the idea of doing business with an American startup would be a good idea. My first TT arrived very well packaged. Very easy to set up. Everything was fine until I removed the shoe. Suddenly the speed started to change (strongly). The culprit was a dust cover rubbing against the edge of the record. It was very obvious and very annoying. I contacted UTurn and explained the problem…

Pros
  • Done
Cons
  • Some problems
