Reliable versatility for mixed media art projects!

I love creating mixed media abstract art! These sanded sheets are durable and easily withstand the messy media merging I put them through. I usually use a mixture of watercolor, coffee, soft pastels, stitched floss, glitter, spray paint, charcoal, panpastel, graphite, acrylic paint, oil pastels, cream crayon markers and colored pencils to get the results I want - and these sheets never let me down.! I will say (like most paper art sheets) that they tend to curl around the edges once the mediumโ€ฆ

Pleasant to use: Fine Art Paper

I love the pastel colors on this paper. The photos look very nice. Easily mixed. I like it. I only used 2 sheets so I'll see if I want to use more.

Pros
  • Our computer controlled electrostatic coating process gives a consistent grain pattern
Cons
  • Expensive

something in between would be just perfect. AT .

I also bought the 320 grit for comparison, for use with soft pastels. In fact, something in between would be just perfect. For me, the 500 didn't have enough "teeth" to hold the pastel. The paper itself is well packed in a nice cardboard envelope which is a handy dispenser. One day after I finished painting outdoors, a passer-by wanted to buy it, so I sold it with a pretty envelope to protect it. Wonderful.

Pros
  • Uart is available in seven grit from 240 to 804
Cons
  • Long lead time
