Initially this product worked perfectly. I turned my car on and it automatically plugged in and the music sounded almost as good as it did with the extra cable. However, now it sometimes distorts in the middle of a song or refuses to connect at all. I drank for a couple of months and here is the result.

This elegantly designed mini receiver replaces a 3 year old USB/Audio (optional) Bluetooth 4.1 adapter cable. In comparison, this device is about 1/3 the size, easily plugs in, and connects instantly when I turn on my machine. The thin, twisted cable does not get in the way and is almost invisible. I haven't tried the microphone for calls yet. A small blue LED indicates operation. This is pretty amazing technology!

Bought something similar at Walmart while waiting for it to arrive. This product works better than others and others I have purchased in the past. I often had problems with the quality of the sound or with their constant hissing whether the sound is playing or not. Another product generates a lot of interference when there is no sound. This one connects very quickly and doesn't need to be toggled on or off with a button like some others. I recommend to everyone.

Why didn't I get this sooner?! So convenient it's worth it. The music connection is great! Sounds like plugging in an extra chord, but no more adapters or the choice between music and charging! I don't think the mic works very well, but I still didn't care. I leave it on and it connects automatically when I get in the car, which I really like. My extra outlet is in the glove box, so I needed something small and flexible. This is perfect for my needs! Very satisfied

I bought this item for my 2010 Ford Focus. Easy setup. Connected to my USB adapter and the other end connected to the car AUX. Press the AUX button on my dashboard and connect it to my phone. Now I can stream all music apps through my car speakers. The sound quality is excellent. And the call quality is excellent. My wife heard me when we spoke with no problem. I have yet to try Maps, but I'm sure it will work fine. I would recommend buying this product to those who don't already have Bluetooth
