I bought this product just a few days ago because my MacBook Air doesn't have USB ports. I have a keyboard, mouse and HDMI connected. I struggle with it every day; only works intermittently. I have to disconnect this item from my computer as well as my keyboard, mouse and HDMI and rearrange them several times before it works. I think it has an error. I am not sure but I will return it. Plus size, it's very nice and light.

The description says "Micro USB charging port for slim notebook with USB Type-C connector". This is misleading, although the seller makes it technically clear elsewhere. It won't charge your laptop or phone, so make sure you understand that. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars. This is a good device apart from the seller's misleading description. I would like a device that also charges, but I don't know where to find one. I love the Ethernet port, it provides wired network for my Galaxy S8.

This USB-C hub works very well. I use it on my Asus Vivobook for keyboard, mouse and network connection. I didn't have any connection issues except on one occasion when the ethernet connection dropped and I had to unplug and plug the cable back in for it to work. It does get a little warm, but that's probably because the aluminum case is really good at dissipating heat from the chips inside. Basically a good device for its purpose.

The laptop is missing ports so I attached it to the back of the laptop. I wish the ethernet port was upside down because it's difficult to work with when physically tied to a surface. But it works. My network speed is slower than what I can use with it. And my USB 3.0 devices seem to be running at full speed with power and data flowing through the USB-C cable. Build quality on this device also seems pretty good.
