USB bandwidth issues fixed

I had audio interface issues. I have a MOTU M2 and my audio was suffering from popping noises. I narrowed the issue down to USB bandwidth issues when using the M2 and the Razer Kiyo at the same time. I tried different USB ports on my computer but couldn't solve the problem. Ultimately I decided to buy this card separately for two devices. It absolutely worked and now my problems are gone. I would like to add that I chose this card because it claims to work with macOS too. Well my car is a…

Add extra USB-C ports

I ordered this to expand my USB ports and this inexpensive card did exactly what was described. Would recommend to anyone who needs more USB ports.

Pros
  • Handy
Cons
  • No insurance

Works great on Linux but horizontal slots are tricky

Plug this into an old Lenovo PC without USB 3 into an unused PCIe x16 slot (graphics card). The machine is running an older (almost old) Ubuntu 12.04.5 LTS with kernel 3.8.0-44. Works well, although no speed tests have been run. The included booklet says it should later work with Linux 2.6.31 without installing drivers, and that's my experience. The only downside to this device is that the card needs to be perfectly aligned with the card slot cutout in order for the USB ports to fit the card…

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Only available in black

Poor build quality of the USB port cards

One of the covers fell off when I put the card in the slot, which shouldn't have happened if it was properly soldered to the board. Needless to say, it was rubbish back then. complete waste of money.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Some flaws

Does the job for USB port cards

Moved the tower to the top of my bookshelf so my keyboard barely reached the top of the MOBO. Throwing this card under the rook gave me an extra foot. It might just have been my case, but I had to bend the card a bit to align the connectors on the back so I could connect USB/c.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

It doesn't support 2 devices at the same time, they turn off

I restart this card because it doesn't support 2 devices at the same time, they turn off, the speed is very good, but try plug usb -Insert cables or flash drives, it is very difficult, because in my computer case there is almost no connector in the rear slots for the connectors of this card

Pros
  • Brilliantly done
Cons
  • Negative impression

NOT SUPPORTED FOR MAC AND NO DRIVERS INCLUDED

Do not buy if you intend to use it on Mac Pro. is not supported, drivers for Mac are not included and the manual does not contain any information. What a waste of money. I think I have another piece of junk to clutter up my desk. Many Thanks. I could have spent the money on something useful, not this. you stink.

Pros
  • Easy Installation
Cons
  • Long Waiting Time

Works great. We need better documents.

The documentation for this was ridiculous. Page 2 says it doesn't work with Linux. Page 3 says the card is supported on Linux since kernel 2.6.31. This core was 12 years ago! I plugged it in and it works great. My USB 3 ports are working at full speed again. (I'm running this on a 2010 HP Z800 workstation, plenty of power but all the numerous USB ports are USB 2.)

Pros
  • Handsome
Cons
  • Slightly dented
