Nice tea room is cozy but doesn't help with keeping warm. I checked the temperature without the case and with it. I measured the initial temperature of the hot water in the kettle and then measured the cooling rate of the water every 5 minutes. No difference. Comfort didn't stop heat loss.

My wife loves it. It was tight for their large kettle but it works. Obviously I didn't understand the listed product sizes very well - maybe I was looking for something larger. Overall the quality seems good and I think we'll be used well.

I have a Lenox China Republic Teapot that matches her perfectly. It keeps the tea hot! Great quality from Ullster Weavers and very fast dispatch from the Happy Stars seller. My Lenox porcelain teapot is a bit small (only holds 4 cups of water) and this tea box is perfect for it! Very happy with this kettle! The color on the design is bright, not boring, Scotty's black is so cute!

My second daughter's favorite gift she hadn't even thought of Earlier this month I walked into her bedroom, pulled the towel off her bed to sit down and was horrified to find it was a bath towel wrapped around a kettle and I just turned it over! What a mess. So I'm looking for a real teapot for her. Such a wrap is much better than those that just cover the whole pan. Charming and practical. You can pour a cup of tea without moving the sofa.
