Difficult to put on - arm, hand and finger rests

If you have two good hands, this shawl is probably easy to put on. Of course, if you have two good hands, you don't need a sling. However, if you have a torn rotator cuff in one shoulder like I did, it's too painful to adjust without causing even more pain than I started. I need my not always available wife to help me with this, which seems problematic in terms of the overall utility of the sling. It's easy, but I can't be on it alone, so it's basically useless.

Comfortable support for arms, hands and fingers

Best hand strap. I was crazy about other brands. They were so uncomfortable and I was unhappy for 2 weeks before I bought my Joslin bracelet. I used to buy 2 different ones and they gave me pain in my neck and around my arm from complacency. I think I'd go insane without that armband. The broken arm at the shoulder was bad enough, and the lack of a properly fitting bandage nearly brought me to the brink. Thank God I found this noose. I also bought one as a backup. I was in a bandage on my arm…

Still looking for evil.

I am so glad I bought this strap. I just had a total shoulder replacement. The bandage from the hospital wasn't that comfortable, so based on the good reviews I ordered this one. I'm glad I did! I have to wear a bandage for the next 5 weeks and this will definitely help me cope. The only thing I have to say, and it's not a bad thing, is watch your sizes. I am a woman who wears size 16 and XL tops. Fits me absolutely perfectly. A word of warning to those women and men who are greater than these.

In December I was in an accident and broke my shoulder and completely tore my rotator cuff. I had to postpone the surgery until the end of June and wore different bandages - all the time at the beginning and now and then depending on the symptoms when I go to the surgery. After the operation I have to lie in the bandage for 6 weeks, then with breaks. I was looking for a sling that I feel comfortable in, but with support for the summer. I saw this sling, read the reviews and decided to give it a

Great bandage for a non-new fracture

I recently fractured my upper arm just below the humeral head and was lucky I didn't need surgery or a cast. Well, I could have a suitcase, but you'd have to wrap it around the other side of my body, you get the point. This type of fracture is essentially a shoulder fracture and is very painful. The humerus is a large bone and with a fracture this high, mobility in the shoulder is compromised and any movement is painful at first. I bought this bandage because the cheap one they sent me home was

Really good sling with a few minor blemishes

Conclusion: I would buy it again despite the minor blemishes. My injury was a broken left collarbone which is not a dominant side. I wore this sling almost 24/7 for about 4 weeks, after 1 week of wearing Instacare provided a sling + bandage (please note I did not purchase the Joslin bandage). Bad: - Shoulder strap could be wider. Shouldn't be much larger, like 1/2 inch wider. This helps distribute the weight of the arm in the sling. And also be wider than the velcro so there is less chance of…

So comfortable! The best sling on the market

I broke my left distal collarbone in a car accident a little over a month ago. As a result, I've had to wear the bandage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, even while sleeping, for a month now, and I'll probably have to wear it for a few more weeks. At the hospital they gave me a cheap blue bandage and said I'd probably want to buy something nicer. A cheap little strap that immediately drove my right shoulder crazy so I bought an Ace branded sling from the pharmacy to try and find something better.
