This version updates the app so all speakers except this one cannot be connected. feel bad man The app now requires location data. you don't need it Don't buy this.

I've come to terms with portable Bluetooth speakers

I've changed my rating. this is a great speaker! Perfectly combined with the barbell 3. At parties I play music around the house and by the pool. That's great. Many also cannot believe that this is Bluetooth. I take these speakers with me everywhere. I took them to company training and they did a great job. Many Thanks

This speaker is great!

I have great headphones that I use at the beach which is great but I needed a bit more in the backyard for pool days and it's insanely loud. Neighbors complain about one, I don't want to see them when the second one comes. To put it in perspective, my yard is easily the size of a soccer field.

Not so great. in Portable Bluetooth Speakers

A bit disappointed with this speaker. Reading reviews and watching video reviews made me think I was going to get a speaker with a slightly better soundstage than my JBL Boombox. It wasn't like that at all. Overall the UE speakers are similar to my Bose experience, great mids and highs but terrible deep bass. That is the case with this speaker. Great speaker, poor communication with other speakers UE

I gave this one 5 stars initially because the speaker itself is amazing. I changed the rating as soon as I realized that I couldn't reliably connect to other UE speakers, so I bought this speaker and several other Megabooms for the garden and patio. Once the Hyperboom was connected to other UE speakers via the UE app, the system degraded. The much-publicized party feature creates a very unstable system in terms of connectivity. Finally a portable speaker with good bass and a largely balanced, open sound!

For reference, I've been a picky audio enthusiast for 30 years and have several systems with large components (large high power speakers and subwoofers, AV processors, separate amplifiers, etc.) and use lossless content for music (FLAC rips from personal CD collection and Tidal FLAC streaming). Stay clean with portable speakers and docking stations

You can see that in most of the reviews of this product, the item was received for free. You must also understand that UE has released some good products, but Megaboom is not in any of them. I completed 2 of these in just over 2 months. Both sounded great, but they struggled with app and firmware updates. Both models will gradually increase the volume up to 100% without input. Super bass and clear sound without distortion.

This speaker is incredibly crazy. I love that I can connect it to my PS4 for the ultimate gaming and movie experience. Also the bass is so sick. (If you want super bass, put it against a wall or in a corner.) I installed it in a building I work on and I could feel the bass in the floor and the noise above the vacuum cleaner.
