A bit disappointed with this speaker. Reading reviews and watching video reviews made me think I was going to get a speaker with a slightly better soundstage than my JBL Boombox. It wasn't like that at all. Overall the UE speakers are similar to my Bose experience, great mids and highs but terrible deep bass. That is the case with this speaker. I'm a bit confused by the reviews saying this speaker has bass. I think if you have other UE speakers then yes, but compared to my JBL Boombox no. My wife and I played them back to back, the same song, and both liked Boombox more. I will say save your money and get the original 1st generation boombox at a discount compared to this speaker.
