This is a PLASTIC thing but it looks very pretty and it's really white. The rear slot is deep and wide enough to hold 3 iPhones or a Galaxy Nexus. We just recently got the Umbra wall organizer and it's already installed. I have to say it's a great piece overall. The only thing I want to emphasize is the "small" aspect; I haven't really looked at the dimensions and this thing is pretty tiny, but that's entirely my fault and in a way I appreciate it being small more. Actually not that bad. I don't have much additional information to add that has already been covered by other reviewers. The only thing I would like to add (or emphasize) is that the included hardware is too long to mount in a closet. The included hardware is for drywall mounting - a couple of standard plastic drywall expanders (you know, a Macallite mount for everything) and a couple of screws that are about an inch long.
