The remote control is separated from the TV

Overall great remote control. The only problem, and it's really annoying, is that we have to reconnect the remote every time we turn on the TV. I'm not sure why he won't keep in touch.

Product did not work

I received the product and was satisfied at first sight, added batteries to the device and started pressing the voice button as this button controls several Samsung exclusive functions and to my disappointment the device did not work.

Requires pairing with TV too often

It works great when plugged in and used, but literally has to be plugged into the TV every time it's turned off. You'll also be prompted to pair if the remote is idle while the TV is on. It also falls back as many times as it needs to be repaired.

This is not a Samsung Smart Remote and does not function like one

You can't use this (at least with Samsung 8000 series TVs) as a smart remote. It doesn't support advanced features with generic controls. It doesn't control the DVR etc. Voice search doesn't work. Don't waste your money on this crap.

Beautiful but without voice control

I bought this remote along with a cheaper $9 remote, also compatible with my Samsung smart screen.Unfortunately, they function similarly. The $20 surcharge for this remote control was probably justified by voice control; However, it doesn't work at all, neither in the screen search interface nor in YouTube.
