This is an excellent base layer for warmth and comfort. However, the product description is NOT correct. This mock shirt is NOT an UnderArmour compression t-shirt, it is a matching t-shirt. As a result, it is not skin-tight like the compression shirt, but has a more figure-hugging cut. I prefer this tailored fit over a compression shirt, but it's still a bit tighter than the regular fit. However, it's warm as a base layer, although too warm as a training tee. I've been running Under Armor every two weeks for six years and am very happy with the performance, quality and fit. I bought this shirt specifically for running outdoors where it can get chilly at times (50F and below). The fit is tight, like a second skin, but not like a compression shirt.
