I used these as spacers for my sockets. The kitchen wall was tiled and the sockets didn't protrude far enough to reach the edge of the tiles. So how do you move the crate without tearing down the newly built wall? These guys did a great job

I wish I had had this set years ago. We use it to place outlets in older homes where the outlet and drywall are uneven. Works great, no more wasting time cutting gaskets, wide range of sizes. No more "spongy" sockets when plugged in.

This saves me time and money as I can choose between different shim sizes when needed. Much better than driving to the parts store and sifting through trash cans for the size I need. Much better too because they're pennies apiece and I don't waste gas getting one.

This set has everything for every job. There are all kinds of sizes that can be used individually or mixed with other sizes to get the size you want. I used this after installing the tile spray and was unable to use the box extension. Rosettes are perfect with the extra length needed to sit over tiles.

If your outlets are recessed like mine, this kit includes a variety of tube sizes to allow you to raise the outside to wall level. Get these and some longer screws and you're done. There are many sets of different sizes, so one pack is enough.

Bought because we were tiling the bathroom and encasing the kitchen so the outlets and switches needed to protrude a bit. That was great! Enough spacers for every need and MUCH easier than those little washers you get at the hardware store (there's nothing like throwing in a bunch of them). It would probably be possible to apply them for repeated use.

If you have loose sockets (for those living in old age we all have this problem but we neglect it). It's very easy to do it yourself and fix minor problems for a few bucks to avoid an electrician! However, this is for flat work with a slightly loose exhaust port that only needs a washer to tighten. Anything else I'd say buy a new store and pay a guy for it
