Spare gloves: gloves and mittens

We live in an area where it can snow 6-8 months a year. The longer the winter, the more your gloves wear out. You lose them, one falls out of your coat pocket and you don't realize it, you have to clear a lot of snow or get your car out of a ditch and end up with wet gloves. Of course, having just one pair of gloves isn't usually the best idea and I'm happy to get them for the boys, both my husband and my son who visits me often. My husband tried them on and he thought they were a bit scratchy…

  • Excellent workmanship

Not my favorite gloves

I bought these gloves as a spare as it seems we can never have too many pairs when the cold sets in. These gloves serve the purpose well, but won't be the first pair I'll pick up. The first thing that struck me about the gloves is that the two pairs are slightly different, which I wasn't expecting. The black ones are pretty soft, but the gray ones are a lot more scratchy, making them less comfortable to wear. My fingers are a bit long, but being a woman wearing men's gloves I guess that's to be

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

So far I'm very happy with the black pair. The fabric is comfortable and similar to other inexpensive cotton work gloves I usually wear, and the conductive fibers on my index finger and thumb work great with my phone. The length of the fingers on my black pair is pretty good, but slightly longer. , but can certainly be used. The gray couple's fingers seem longer and not as comfortable. I figured they would be the same size, and maybe they should be. The fingertips on the gray pair work just as…

Light jersey good for cool weather

Nice knitted gloves. They are stretchy and fit a variety of hand sizes. You can send text messages with your fingertips. They're good for a quick trip on the road or a stroll on a chilly day. This is not the type of glove you would choose if you are going to be outside in cold weather for a while as the protection is minimal. Although the jersey is fairly thin, it should be durable enough to last a season. They look like the gloves I buy for $5 at the drug store or discount store. I like them…

  • Good product for the price

  • unreliable

Comfortable with gloves and mittens

I now have thick gloves which are good for these winter months but I have a problem cleaning up after my dog when I put them on. These gloves are a bit thinner, but they're a lot more versatile and I can actually do stuff in them. Of course I lose some heat when using them, but they're fine in temperatures just below freezing. They stretch so should fit different hand sizes but I found the thumb dangled a bit but it's not too noticeable. Then you get two of these, one black, one dark gray (so…

Pros
  • Little competition
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Poorly knit gloves.

These gloves are poorly connected. The material doesn't seem to be of very high quality. It's fuzzy and not smooth. There are large gaps in knitting, similar to holes. The edges are uneven. The material on some fingertips looks worn.

Pros
  • Annual Trial
Cons
  • Thin

I bought these for my son in law

My daughter won't snow/ice the car - she has a boyfriend who always does this for her so I bought him these gloves because although she While they may not be the warmest of gloves, they seem more useful for things like working with scrapers, getting keys out of your pocket, and starting your car without removing your gloves. The bottom line is to keep your hands warm but still be able to talk on the phone, put on glasses (anyone who wears glasses will understand how freezing cold glasses freeze

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
