There are many clothespin dolls on Revain and none are as perfect as this one. The quality is stable. Very smooth, no burrs. Delivery with Prime is very fast. Ordered at least 10 times from this seller. This is the only place I will ever buy my clothespin dolls. I tried others before I found this one. Their colors didn't match, or they had roughness or nicks. Just not these woodpeckers. Perfect every time.

The angel pegs I received were not of first quality. The lower part was not sanded smooth, but there were turning marks on it. The heads were small and irregularly shaped. I contacted woodpeckers and they didn't help. I can't physically devote the time and energy to packing and returning them during a pandemic! The seller tried to blame Revain and the supplier for the quality but their tag was on the bags and the dollar was billed to them. I will save her and burn her in my summer fire.

I bought these for my dad to use as bingo markers. He lost his left arm over 50 years ago and has suffered multiple strokes over the past 10 years, resulting in a loss of feeling in his right arm. He lives in a nursing home and loves to play bingo, but has had a hard time collecting tiny markers. These wooden doll bodies are the perfect size and shape. He can grab them and they fit perfectly into the bingo squares! I'm so glad we found them and now my dad can play bingo with his friends!

Love it! I applied two coats of Folk Art Ultra Dye and then applied a homemade beeswax sealer. It's the perfect size to fit in Grimm's Rainbow Stacker. My girls love playing with them! UPDATE 6/2020. I bought a few more sets of dolls and unfortunately the quality of the following sets was not as good as the first. Of the 100 pieces, 10 probably had rough edges that required significant sanding. For personal use I might be fine with this, but not fine if I'm making a product for sale.

Overall I'm very happy with them. The 40/50 I received arrived in perfect condition to be primed and painted straight away. For the price, I won't let these 10 influence my final decision. I ordered another brand that was supposed to be here today so I can only compare it to these. They're the perfect start to Christmas gifts for the whole family this year. Very fine workmanship, high quality wood, very smooth. I just apply a thin coat of primer and then paint my dolls. Will buy again when I've finished my batch! Edit: I wanted to add some details on working with puppets. Keep in mind that while these dolls appear to be made out of good quality wood, they are still porous.
