My wife brought these adapters to Europe to power her electronics with her 220 volt power supply. As long as she's happy with it. And that means I'm happy too. Potential buyers should understand that these are plug adapters (they do NOT change the voltage, meaning that either the voltage plug adapter or the actual device should automatically change the current to the correct voltage). This is a GOOD BUY and my wife and I recommend it.

They do what they're supposed to do. But even with a product this simple, there are things that can be poorly designed. Unfortunately, this adapter does not offer enough grip from the US side. My family is going to the EU this summer and we need USB chargers AND a socket for a hair dryer. Instead of buying EU electronics we have confirmed that all our devices are rated for 100-240V (it says small print next to the plug) and all we need are some fun European pins. These little pass-through adapters are very basic, they fit snugly etc. I have other EU chargers and they look the same. We'll know for sure later this summer, but I'm pretty sure they'll work great. I travel from New York to Europe once a month and I always take a lot of gadgets with me. I was born in Italy and I know how plug sockets work, they are very different from the states so this plug only has a metal tip that is slightly larger in diameter than the rest of the shaft. This allows the plug to lock into the socket's internal locking mechanism. it won't fall unless you pull it straight out. I bought this for India for a family trip and I liked the 4 piece wholesale price. Great value for money as they worked great at our hotel for a stopover in Switzerland. Yes, in rural India I have more trouble using them which has nothing to do with the product but more to do with the incredibly cheap outlets in India making them difficult to use.
