Good phone fits phones and accessories

This is the standard corded phone I bought for my VOIP telephony. The first one I bought had non-working buttons on the bottom row of numbers (7, 8, 9) so Revain quickly sent me a new one while I was returning it. The new one seems to work fine. Telephone cords are built into the phone, including (1) handset to docking station; and (2) dock to wall outlet. So you don't need any other separate telephone cables. Good if you use your phone close to the plug. However, if you want to extend it…

Not suitable for landlines

The phone is well built but has a few inherent issues. The first relates to a small button on the phone that should slide out. I had the MUTUAL problem; When I pick up the handset from the base, the button doesn't always come out (i.e. I haven't picked up the phone yet) and I have to tap or tap the handset to answer the call. The second problem is that the call ID display is very difficult to read and almost…

Cons
  • Definitely bad product

It could be better. Best in Landline Phones

Phone cord (straight cord going to wall jack, not twisted from handset to base) is stupidly sewn into the base so you can't just use a longer phone cord. This forces you to either stay within 6 feet of an outlet, or purchase a built-in phone line coupler and an extra length of phone line with jacks on both ends (which will cost a few bucks, so this phone's low price isn't a selling point , if you need it). To be honest it would be much better and hardly more expensive to plug the base station…
