Device failed to transfer data after two days

Bought for a jeep off-road trip. The push-to-talk button failed after two days. Wouldn't buy again. After the window's return date, I'm sticking with it. Do not buy

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not automatic

Ideal for Jeep events

This item is great for off-road events. I just used it all weekend at the 4x4 Winter Jamboree in Southern Utah. Was loud and clear and easy to use. We discussed another model with more features, but we don't need them. We used an external magnetic antenna, but in a team of 20-30 jeeps we certainly didn't need it. We heard the leader and tail gunner perfectly all weekend, even without a magnetic antenna.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Compatibility

Great for hobbyists, best for CB radios and talkback

I installed an external antenna and for indoor use I was able to pick up some truckers. In a car with a standard antenna and plugged into the cigarette lighter, it was also possible to hear truckers on the freeway. I can't solve the transmission range problem because I have yet to get in touch. As a hobbyist and not someone who needs this device for important travel, I enjoy it immensely. The car had a CB a few years ago so it's nice to revisit that.

Pros
  • Tested for one year
Cons
  • Damaged

Not the biggest. suitable for CB radios and scanners

Works at approximately 200 yards. little. It is better to spend a little more and get a device with a battery. Batteries are more expensive than the device itself. Personally, I think (I know) I wasted my money, living and learning. The cigarette lighter plug also broke so I don't use it. Also, I refuse to spend $16 for 4 rechargeable batteries when it lasts 9. Think of it as a waste of money for something that doesn't work anyway.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Lightly dented

Works but the included antenna has limitations

I bought two of these radios. They work as expected. With the included antenna you can reach about 200-250 yards at full power. With a more optimal antenna, they work like any other full-featured CB radio. Even if you can only use one full-size antenna on one device, performance will be greatly improved. When you need range and portability, UHF FRS walkie talkies are for you. These radios use AM at 27MHz, which allows them to "talk" farther than UHF FM in no-line-of-sight environments. If…

Why do people fucking like to complain

I don't understand why people fucking like to complain. Don't get into the CB hobby if you don't know what you're doing. Do your research first. CB radio is legally 4W while SSB is 12W. Find out the difference. An antenna will not give you the range you want. There are other antennas that you can buy online that will take you far. The device can only be charged when it is switched off. If you don't hear anyone say, there is no one there. Nobody around you might have the problem and not use CB…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
