We bought these for our annual snorkeling trip in Florida. I did a lot of research because there is a risk of carbon dioxide poisoning with this type of mask. In my opinion, the risk is not zero with them either, since the silicone edge can leak if worn incorrectly. But we don't swim in it for hours.
