Works well - live plants

Works as expected, was able to send a couple of roaches I bred and they arrived with the heat pack still working. I also used them in my roach tanks when I had a power outage for a week. He kept her alive until the power was restored.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • old

They never worked. on Aquarium Dรฉcor

I bought these a while ago to help out when needed during a winter storm. Checked one on the first day, nothing. I figured it was just a minor thing, not a big deal, the rest would probably work. I live in Texas and we were not prepared for a power outage and NONE of them worked as advertised. All packaging was sealed to prevent air leakage prior to use.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Nothing here

DO NOT BUY LIVE PLANTS

Not sure if I bought a bad bouquet or what but none of them got warm. The plants I sent didn't take root, so I got suspicious and opened them up. One after the other, nobody got warm. don't buy that. Please find another seller. I can't imagine transporting a pet with it. It hurts so much to lose so many plants.

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Obsolete

Nice warm pack! for living plants

I like it very much. They are great for transporting aquatic snails that I breed. They warm up but not enough to cook what they bring. They're a little larger than I expected, but overall a great warmth pack. I recommend wrapping them in gift paper or bubble wrap so they don't directly touch the creature you're sending.

Great heating pad

I use these heating pads when shipping African violets to very cold delivery areas. Thanks to their volumetric insulation and one or two heat packs (depending on the box size), they protect young plants well from very low temperatures. Some of my shipments were over 72 hours behind and I was told that heat packs are still working on extended shipping. So the cost of these packages is worth it! I will order again and again.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Long delivery time
