Does not match the description or pictures. The hook is not parallel to the handle so I bought this hook. rounded as seen in the photos. I've been looking for Revain for over an hour to find one that parallels the hilt. If you change the design of your product, you must change the photo and description in the product listing! Would have given 5 stars if it was as pictured and described.

Tired of using the standard manhole hook to remove cable storage covers, boxes and valve boxes? Well, the thing does its job and doesn't bend even with heavy concrete vault covers. Two simple mods, put the end in a vise, straighten the hook 90 degrees and grind the two sides of the tip and you're done. I don't use this for round cast iron manhole covers, it still does the job of a standard manhole hook. That made my work a lot easier.

The product itself is well made. I purchased this item based on the comments in the Q&A section and the pictures. The hook is in the wrong orientation for what I need. If the hook were parallel as stated, it would lie flat on the ground. The hook points up, which means it is perpendicular to the handle. No need to mess around with the return, I can get it to work but I'm very disappointed. Someone out there should know the difference between parallel and perpendicular.
