The worst thing is that the picture shown leads you to.

This slide case does the job but looks very cheap. Worst of all, the picture shown leads you to believe it's all real wood, but the top is actually a cheap piece of veneer that doesn't even match the color of the sides! I would return it but I'm not wasting my time or money anymore.

I would not buy again!

The first storage box I bought was fine, the second was rubbish. At first the slides didn't go in because the part separating the slides was warped and separated from the side of the box. This happened at the factory because they put a digital sticker on a deformed part. I tried attaching it with wood glue and wood staples to hold it in place until it dries. After the glue dried, I was able to mount five slides. If I didn't have the slides ready I would send them back. When I'm working on a…

Was so happy then very disappointed

That's what I expected for what I paid for it. I opted for a cheaper wooden lid because the price was low, but what really annoyed me was that the slides were too tight on the standard glass slides. I had to slide the guides into the grooves and gave up when one of my guides broke into pieces. I did the slides in my microrotation at school and now I don't have the Staph Epidermidis slide. I will replace this box, but unfortunately I cannot replace a broken slide. It's possible that this issue…
