The stands stay upright so this wasn't an issue. I used these for 24 x 36 color plastic signs. Coroplast isn't as stiff as foam so you can see my signs recline a bit, but again this stand wasn't actually made for 24 x 36 signs but still they did did a great job. Easy to transport and install, no complaints. The stand lasted three days on the table with no problems.

I bought this to use at an online trade show where I rented a booth. I had a 24" x 36" poster and needed an easy way to display it on my desk with something understated. It fit easily in my laptop bag making it easy to carry around and once I realized I needed to snap the two holders together it worked great. Can't comment on how it performs with heavier materials but it worked great for my needs and it looks nice. It definitely helped me project a professional image.

I was happy to get a desk easel that I can take to class and also use when painting. I needed another look at the photo to see how she is standing and how she will be holding the drawing. The plastic handles on the bottom are just clips that slide down. They work and will hold the paper if you have a pad behind them, but the thing is they tilt up to hold and in the photo they look flat so they get in the way of you underneath.
