Description of Universal Catalytic Converter Stainless Approved Replacement Parts - Exhaust & Emissions

ATTENTION: This item doesn't ship to California and Colorado, please confirm before purchase. VEHICLE FITMENT: Universal fit for vehicles with 2.5-inch outer diameter exhaust pipe while cutting and welding may be required so professional installation is highly recommended. HIGH FLOW & EFFICIENCY: Internal honeycomb ceramic substrates have porous structure to increase the reaction area, and ensure sufficient catalysts (Pt, Rh, Pd) on the coating surface for a higher conversion rate. DURABILITY: Adopts heavy-duty T409 stainless steel shell that highly resists heat, rust, and corrosion for longer service life, no worry about bending or melting even in extreme conditions. WORRY-FREE PURCHASE: EPA Federal Standard Certificated, all AUTOSAVER88's catalytic converters are stamped with an exclusive EPA number on the shell. AUTOSAVER88 offers a 5-year or 50,000 miles limited warranty, for any manufacturer defect.

Great part. Suitable for catalytic converters

A very reliable and attractive OEM part. It's legal, takes up less space, and feels better than the factory device. Couldn't be happier. Thanks!

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Zero

Good for location, best for catalytic converters

Partially worked on a 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe with automatic transmission and 5.3 liter engines for a year so far, codes gone, had other issues like throttle body replacement and that helped a lot more than I did in my maintenance

Pros
  • Ease of use
Cons
  • Negative impression

So far so good: catalytic converters

When it came time to replace the cat in my 2008 Jeep Wrangler I replaced it with long tailpipes, high flow cat and dual mufflers/exhausts. This CAT is designed for engines up to 5.9 liters. My engine is 3.8L and I have dual exhaust/CAT. So the flow is fantastic - as if no CATs were used at all. And the Jeep computer can handle it too.

Pros
  • very impressive
Cons
  • modern

I can't believe how effective and cheap it is.

IT SLIPS ON THE CAT! Surprisingly, it's not a 2.5" crampon, it's a 2.60" crampon, so you can mount it over your existing 2.5" tube. AND! No welding required, cut 7" section, slide spool all the way down. You go in, line up the opposite pipe and push the cat back to close the gap and pinch it. The cat is 11 inches tall, you cut out a 7 inch section to slide down. The issuance went well, it looks like it could cost over $150. Cute stuff, I don't know how they can even make a cat that cheap…

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Weight
