Use the remote control to control your Samsung HiDef TV and convert your local cable provider. DVD is also connected, but I haven't tried it yet. Programming instructions see sufficient; I had to search for the correct command key for a device (successfully). Works well. Key lighting is good.

A great remote control so far. Easy to program. Bought to replace the remote control that came with our Haier TV. It was so dark and the buttons were hard to see/press, nor did they work properly unless you were pointing very closely at the TV. By far the worst TV remote and we have had and still have many TVs! So far this one works much easier and loves the backlight.

I like the feel and function, unfortunately I can't manage to adjust the volume on my Samsung Smart TV. I haven't been able to program the Revain Bestisan 28" soundbar either. I've tried all the codes that came with it and also tried the auto programming feature. Both were very easy by following the instructions. I'll keep looking for the remote. which manages my audio and video components I don't like using multiple.

My son's TV remote just turned on and died. I tried contacting the manufacturer (not the brand) to see if I could buy another one but clearly their number wasn't set up to receive calls? And I never got a reply to my email to them. So based on the reviews I decided on this remote control. As the TV is not branded, no codes can be found for it. It took me quite a long time to program this universal TV remote control, but finally we programmed it. Overall a good buy.

This device was easy to set up for TV, streamer, satellite box, soundbar and DVD. Unfortunately it didn't work as it should. Some inconveniences, for example, the menu button is so small that it is almost invisible. The same goes for the record button, which should have been red. The exit and streaming buttons are barely legible without a magnifying glass. Bought this remote to control an old Norcent DVD & Amplifier (Home Theater). It came with a code to login and manage the Norcent device. I prefer to only have one remote control so I also programmed it to control my TV (Vizio) and DirectTV. It works better than I expected on the Vizio Smart TV and DirectTV set-top box. Excellent remote control with a very bright backlight. It was preprogrammed for a Samsung TV, but I had to select a different Samsung code to activate all of my TV's functions, which took less than a minute. ROKU's reprogramming is another reason I bought this remote. The only downside is that they're advertised as programmed for these devices, but you'll have to figure out the special keys on your ROKU remote by trial and error, for example.
