Nice little front and rear view cameras.

Now I have bought 4 of these cameras, at first I was tired because of some reviews but I got exactly what was on the list, a Pyle branded camera that can work both front and rear and also reversible is guide. The mount is a little wobbly but holds the camera well enough. While aiming the camera can be a bit tricky as there are no marks on the camera indicating the top, at least I can't find any. Overall I'm happy with them, I have a pair in a rearview setup and a pair in a frontview setup…

Great picture, poor instructions and customer service.

Installed the camera, the picture is very clear except the picture was a mirror, contacted them and they said they could not help me with the problem. Followed the instructions to cut the wires to flip the picture and the instructions and labeled wires are incorrect. It says cut white white to flip the image and then park lines came on the screen so had to cut the green wire that flipped the image but now I'm stuck with park lines I don't need because my main unit is already showing parking…

OK, but there are better options

Works, but has problems. First, the image is very contrasty. So if you're looking at something that's partly in bright sunlight and partly in shadow (it's very common for your car to cast a shadow), it's very difficult to see detail, e.g. B. where is the curb. And the camera is rotated a bit in the mount so it looks like every road is tilted to one side. Also, the instructions didn't match my device. The wire colors used to flip the image or toggle the guides on/off were different and the…

Great little camera, good in low light, no LEDs

Bought 3 groups of 3 cameras (maximum allowed by this seller) The first group had a 12v red line with two wires from the reverse and Scaling controlled lines. I had to login to activate it. The second group had a black ground wire with two wires for reverse and scale, these had to be connected to disable. The third group had both leads connected to the black ground wire, but both were disabled. You will need to cut the wire if you want lines/backwards. NONE OF THE CAMERAS HAVE ANY KIND OF LED…

Terrible video quality

This camera was recently purchased for my van but after a quick test run before full installation I quickly realized that this thing is awful. I installed a new head unit and even though I opened everything up in the dash I wanted to test this camera out before running all the cables to it and I'm so glad I did. Even in good light, the image quality from this camera is terrible. . And by that I mean extremely grainy and fuzzy to the point where you have to strain yourself to figure out what…

Complete garbage and fire hazard

When I bought a Pyle camera I knew the build quality was terrible so I took a chance. That's because when I first bought this camera (complete with a 7 inch monitor) the camera worked but the cables immediately got hot so I could never leave it on. RCA cables before and after every trip in my RV. Big $$ problem but necessary to avoid fire. After about 3 years of use, this first camera died. So I looked for something better but I couldn't find the fancy mount I wanted for either the new monitor…

Used as security camera inside!

I purchased this unit to replace a security camera that was running in my home security system and failed. The picture quality isn't the best but you can see it's great for what I want to use it for! This camera runs 24/7 and I've read reviews that this camera gets hot all the time. I plugged mine into a 5 volt outlet inside and it works great on 5 volts! I originally intended to power this camera with a lower power supply to avoid overheating and it works great at 5 volts! I would say you can…
