You need to buy an adapter

This "mud cleaner" has an odd thread size. You will need to purchase an adapter to fit the air coupling for your compressor. Consider an extra $10.

Pros
  • . Attaches to Uniweld 2-Foot Service Hose P/N H2SSM or 5-Foot Service Hose P/N H5SMY
Cons

Doesn't stick well

It would be a really good product if it was more durable. I use it to flush AC condensate drain lines, but if you get a tough flush line this product has been known to blow off the rubber end and then usually get stuck in the line. Once the end is deflated, you can't put it back on and trust it will stay put.

Great Product - Welding Equipment

This product is what a man suggested. It works great when unclogging a clogged drain pipe from our furnace/air conditioner unit in the garage. IMPORTANT NOTE - Be careful not to apply too much pressure as this will literally destroy your pipes. I know it's less than 100 pounds of pressure but I think it's closer to 60-80 max.

It didn't expand - which was the whole point, right?

I was disappointed that the Sludge Blaster didn't really expand, which was its primary purpose. It seems trying, but barely noticeable. I was trying to increase the air pressure coming out of the compressor but was also sensitive to the fact that I really didn't want to force more than 30psi into my PVC condensate drain pipes. The solution was simple, I just taped it around until it was wide enough to fill the diameter of the PVC pipe. The drain clog was easy to unclog and it turned out that…
