Aggravation. - Air Conditioning Line Repair Tools

Disappointed. Worked fine on the first 2 shredders, used it again and the head was missing, the part holding the shredder just fell out. Left with a useless tool.

Pros
  • Stainless steel insert tip with O-ring for easy and safe valve core removal.
Cons
  • Update Availability

Robust design. while it works fine. An essential tool for any air conditioning professional. These tools don't come cheap, but when you need them, they're worth every penny spent. Saves refrigerant and, above all, time.

Cons

Very satisfied also saved money by not paying for the extra

photo does not correspond to the product received. The inverted handle makes the evacuation much less labor intensive and so far my mic has shown they actually hold a solid vacuum Very satisfied also saved money without paying the price :)

Pros
  • 1/4" side connection to connect and isolate a vacuum gauge in the system.
Cons
  • protection

Easy to fix error

I read reviews where people had this problem. The pin holding the Schrader valve tool is way too small and mine fell out. I need to find a bolt with the right diameter, I was lucky the end didn't get lost either. The tool worked well once before the pin was lost. I believe Uniweld intends to sell a good product but someone needs to address this very simple issue. I would buy it again if I was sure that the problem was solved

Pros
  • Remove and replace damaged leaking valve cores without losing refrigerant to the system.
Cons
  • weak

Not suitable for HVAC service.

I've used it a few times but yesterday while vacuuming the suction rod fell apart and it was impossible to remove the circuit board without losing coolant. The valve insert is attached to the extractor shaft with a small punch. This punch is the wrong size on both tools and had to be flared to keep it from falling out. Gaskets and compression fittings are abnormally large and difficult to check for leaks and can damage your hose seals. This tool is useless for quality work and it looks like…

Pros
  • Vacuum rated at 20 microns
Cons
  • Slightly torn
