Works great in welders

Oh my god I can't believe I've been soldering without this tip all along. Fits my Ameriflame universal welding torch and makes a world of difference on heated surfaces. Brazing copper tubing over 1/4 inch in diameter is no longer a difficult task.

Pros
  • Welding and Soldering
Cons
  • Available in White Only

Fast and efficient soldering tip

Makes soldering fast and efficient. Heat control is paramount with this tip, as someone said, this thing makes whatever you point HOT!

Pros
  • 7" overall length and ideal for soldering up to 2-5/8" copper tubing in HVAC applications with limited space
Cons
  • Don't remember

9 small tongues are better than 1 big one

9 small tongues are better than 1 big one. It keeps heat concentrated and widely distributed. This makes preheating very fast and helps with soldering. According to the manufacturer, the pressure is 10 psi. inch for oxygen and 8 psi. Inch for acetylene/fuel.

Pros
  • Use with acetylene and oxygen to reach temperatures up to 5600 degrees Fahrenheit
Cons
  • Out of fashion

It brings warmth!

Works great with my Oxy/Mapp portable flashlight. Things get very hot with the Victor J28 grip. One of my new favorites for my little torch setup. Haven't tried propane and acetylene yet but will in the near future - judging by how it works with mapp I think it will work with any fuel gas. The connector does not fit the 100FC medium-sized handle - it is designed for small Victor J-series torches.

Pros
  • Made in the USA and fully fire tested
Cons
  • No instructions
