poor quality control

I could not use this product. A thread cut off on one side of the fitting rendered it unusable. I thought it might be a burr but after pressing on a good adapter the connector was no good.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Some errors

So far, so good. Best in Tools and Equipment

Just received this adapter and did a quick vacuum test - dropped to <40 microns fairly quickly, no leaks. Seems to do the job. I had to tighten it a bit more than I was used to before it was sealed, but after it was sealed it worked fine.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • New competitors are here

Remove the Schrader pusher

The Schrader pusher misaligned and gave me an incorrect reading when pulling the vacuum as it was somehow blocking the hose on the adapter. Not the end of the world, I'll just delete it. Still not needed. Make sure you delete yours too.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • I will add later

High quality brass fittings!

This micrometer coupler is very well made, has an adjustable valve core hold down, good grip for quick tightening and loosening, handy for hooking up a micrometer to check your vacuum pump and connecting to service valves or to an evacuation tank, when I pull the vacuum I give it two thumbs up, plus it's made in the USA.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • Hard to say
