Everything fits, except for the largest egg, which is very difficult to open. My son can't open it himself and it's hard even for me. I'll have to try grinding. Other than that, it's great.

Some of the eggs were pressed a little to open easily but with some sand they worked fine. These are good quality nest eggs with nodular areas filled in so you have to color them, but isn't that what they're for?

There could be a little more space between the eggs. Even before painting, one of the eggs got stuck in the other. I had to grind it, it's inconvenient, there are no tools for that. Otherwise they were good.

Very well done, I was able to stain and polish them however I wanted, I've since ordered another set, hope they'll be there soon if I need to find a fault with them Based on the product they would have been too tight for children and difficult to open but after sanding them down a bit they were fine.

These are fairly good quality wooden Easter eggs in a set of 5. They are smooth enough on the outside to be painted without pre-treatment. The two eggs were so firm when they arrived that I couldn't open them at all. With some effort, my husband separated them anyway. I plan to gradually sand the inside with fine sandpaper until they fit snugly, but my granddaughter will be able to open them. The insides of the eggs are a bit rough and I personally think they need sanding, so I'll do that too…
