In order to get this on your impact wrench, place it in a pot of hot water on the stove. After sitting in the hot water for about 5 minutes, carefully remove the cover and it will slide on with no effort at all! Good luck trying to get this on otherwise.It does the trick and gives your air wrench another level of protection. Well worth the money to keep your tools in good condition.

I just received my new aircat killer torque 1150 impact wench and i also purchased the aircat protective cover or boot it makes my new gun look very nice and all i had to do was i put the boot in the microwave for 30 seconds and warmed it up and i was able to slip it right on no problems very nice and gives it a good grip .

In case you don't have a heat gun or a very warm hair dryer, you might want to order one to get this sleeve to stretch around the gun. You will NOT be able to put the sleeve exactly how it goes without heating it up. I ordered one and returned it thinking it was the wrong size until my boss told me to heat it up so it would stretch. Perfect now!

Protects my AirCat 1150 from ground impacts and dragging on rough concrete, gives a good gripping surface, fits tightly and doesn't come off unless I take it off purposely. The dial legend is covered on the back so you have to feel the lever click into place to know what setting you are on. Not a huge deal anyway, the 3 forward settings are so close together that I would move the lever and feel the clicks to be sure of which one it was on anyway, even without the cover.

I felt bad putting my impact down on concrete or asphault all the time, so I purchased this cover. It fits snug, on my 1150 air cat. Yes, it covers the rear selector, but if you already use this gun, you don't ever look at the dial anyway. Take care of your tools, and you'll always make your money back on them.

I have several impact wrenches from snap-on, ingersol and aircat, and I always get the boot for them to protect the housing from damage, I like this one better than the ones for the snap-on and ingersol rand, the snap-on boots are a softer rubber that are easier to pull on and off, easier to clean but don't seem to be as tough as this one. the ingersol rand boots are more like this one except that they usually don't cover the entire housing. anyway, this does what it is supposed to do.

Great protection. Heat with hot air or you may split it getting it on. For warranty purposes, don't forget to record your model and serial number before you fit it or you will have to reheat the cover and remove it again.

Perhaps too good of quality, spent 15 minutes with screwdriver and hook pick to put it on the aircat because it was so tight. Really thick and has held up well so far

Fits pretty good. It does give good protection. The trick to install this boot to your new Aircat impact wrench is really simple.Soak it in a bowl of 140-165 degree hot water for about 3-4 minutes & it's really easy to install. Just go over the anvil first.

Fits perfectly and snug on my 1150. Heated it a little to soften it and it went on easily. After it cooled, it was nice and snug.

hard to get on. took me and another buddy to put on the 1150 aircat, but stays on, its very tough and durable. i would purchase again

Was hard to install . After warming it up, it was still quite hard to install. Also had a piece that goes around the impact wrench tore into. The cover didn't seem to have been cut just right , but does still protect good. Time will tell.

I really struggled to get this thing on right. I had to heat it up with a hot air gun (boiling water works too) and wrestle it onto the impact wrench. Once it was on, it was on to stay. It was a perfect fit and so I have no complaints. You will be happy with it too, it you get one.

It Is everything I expected and then some. That's my review. I will definitely order another one if this one gets damaged, lost or broken.

It is a tight fit and I had to cut the back end down to make it work with my air gun. After a few months, I cut it more to make it just slip on very easily so I can use the grease fitting on the front of my impact without fighting to pull it off. It sounds like a bad review but, when I look at my impact gun it looks like it's new with the boot off. So it's doing its job.

Putting this on was easy. Heat a pot of water on the stove and let the cover float in the heated water for a minute or so. Slips right on.

Fits snug like it should. Only thing is you can’t see the power settings on the back of the impact. No big deal. Thanks for attention.

Would have been 5 stars if the grey plastic outer liner(with the aircat logo) was glued on properly. It just hangs off, so I just removed it completely. It is still effective as a protective boot however.

THis boot is very durable and strong. I bought this for a nitrocat 1000-tc 1/2 impact. It fits perfectly. You must heat this cover up with a heat gun for proper installation. Heat makes the boot very flexible and easy to install. If you do not use heat I dont think you could put it on without tearing it.
