Strongest and steadiness rods

Liked the the strength, steadiness and easy installation of these rods where you don't have to use screws with Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • Was easy to install. Doesn’t feel as sturdy as I thought it would but definitely works so far.
Cons
  • The rod may not fit securely on tile or glass shower walls

Works great on my review.

This replaced a cheaper version that wouldn't stay in place. Much happier with this one. It doesn't fall down. That's my review.

Pros
  • Finally a shower rod that doesn't fall down! I love it!
Cons
  • The rod may not fit securely in all shower spaces

Nice Looking but Won't Stay Up

This product matched perfectly with bathroom but even when secured to the wall tightly, it came crashing down in the middle of the night. Apparently, something is wrong with the plastic parts on the ends of it that are supposed to help it stick.

Pros
  • Shower Curtain Rods
Cons
  • The black finish may not be scratch-resistant and show signs of wear quickly

Works great, stays in place.

I never thought these tension rods stayed in place well, but my new shower has tile walls and I was afraid to drill into it so I had no choice. I am very pleased so far. Even on glossy tiles, this rod stays in place well and looks nice.

Pros
  • Works well for holding up sheer curtains in my closet it was really easy to set up too! Seems sturdy! :)
Cons
  • The adjustable feature may not work smoothly or consistently

Great to replace closet doors with a curtain

It's a bit challenging to find a tension rod longer than the traditional shower curtain length, so I was super happy to have found this one that's 54-90 Inches. I wanted it for hanging a curtain across a closet opening. This one in black has a nice, sleek, simple look. It was easy to put up, and I liked the padded ends so I didn't scrape up the paint on the walls. The reason I chose this rod specifically was because one end can be removed; I wasn't sure the curtain rings I had would fit over…

Pros
  • Shower Curtains, Hooks & Liners
Cons
  • The tension mechanism may damage the shower wall with repeated use

Works well even with heavy curtains

Takes a bit of trial and error to find the "sweet-spot" of the spring when installing but holds well once they are up. Strong arms and a patient wife is indispensable.

Pros
  • This rod has held up without slipping down while I pull the curtains each day.
Cons
  • The adjustable feature may not work smoothly or easily

Regular tension rods not sturdy enough

I have some longer windows in my home and wanted to hang curtains inside the frame. Basic tension rods that length sagged. I tried shower curtain tension rod and worked great. Use them on all my windows not for inside frame installation.

Pros
  • I like that it stays tight to the wall.
Cons
  • The tension mechanism may loosen over time and require frequent adjustments

extra long yet sturdy curtain rod

I wanted to put a curtain up across the bottom of the stairway to block the cold air coming down and the warm air going up. I needed a very long rod to stretch from the wall halfway up the stair all the way to the front door. This rod is plenty long enough. It was easy to install, and has no problem holding the heavy curtain.

Pros
  • Just what I was looking for. Something sturdy & not bulky! Looks great with rest of my bathroom!
Cons
  • The rod may be too flimsy for heavier shower curtains

Pretty sturdy. better than others I have tried

They look pretty nice and are more stable than other tension rods I have used. Doesn't seem like they are likely to fall down anytime soon.

Pros
  • Cheaply made but it's going to work until I get a new shower installed.
Cons
  • The tension mechanism may be noisy or create a loud squeaking sound

Eventually stops staying up

I have had my rod for a little over 1 year and it will no longer keep its tension. It's like the springs that keep it open no longer work.

Pros
  • Works perfectly. No complaints. Would buy again.
Cons
  • Nice looking enough could be heavier pain too put up

Regular tension rod

Sturdy enough for a plastic curtain. I have have heavy curtains. Tge rod is too thin for the price in my opinion. If you do not need a rod that is sturdier. I recommend this rod.

Pros
  • Nice product. Works great
Cons
  • The black finish may not hold up well to harsh cleaning products
