I measured myself with a tape and the vest fit exactly as advertised.I'm right in the middle between Large/Extra Large and went with the XL knowing I'm much more likely to gain weight than lose. Everything seems well designed and constructed,I think it looks very nice although I didn't get the compliments that many do.I attribute this to the fact that I'm old and not very handsome anyway.

I was apprehensive about ordering online something that needed to be fitted. I have, also, had trouble with the not being able to determine the quality of the piece from a photograph. However, I couldn't be more pleased with this vest. The wool is very soft, the construction excellent, the color just as it was represented in the picture. I haven't had a chance to wear it in public yet (way too warm now for a wool vest) but I am eager to be out and about in it.

It’s absolutely amazing, one of my favorite articles already. Goes with most of my button up shirts, warm where it counts but with lots of room to breathe so it can be worn in hot weather. The material is stylish in a classic way. I have received many compliments for it. I will be buying another in the future, or more. Fits exactly as intended.

I ordered multiple brown vests for my husband for our wedding but this was by far my favorite. It has a beautiful herring bone pattern and was made from high quality fabric. It has a belt across the back to adjust for a properly fitted look. It ran a bit small so I ordered a size larger than the measurements said. It looked amazing on my husband for our 1920s themed wedding.

My husband is 6ft 1in and weighs 212 pounds. The xl was perfect. Other reviews said to order a size up, and we did at first , but it was way too big. So the XL was the right size. Nice vest good quality.Hope this helps someone else order the Right Size!

I bought this vest for a Christmas party this past December and LOVE it. I've worn it several times since then. I have about a 36" bust, and as a woman, typically run into issues finding androgynous vests that fit right and button up higher. I did have my partner take it in a bit at the armpits to fit better, but the material itself is beautiful! I wish I could buy it in every color!

This waistcoat looks excellent. I’ve worn it several times and gotten compliments every time I wear it. The nice finishing touch is the back is also Harris Tweed. Most waste coats and vest like this have a shiny polyester back.I will probably order another one in a different color. Remember these waistcoat run to full sizes too small. So make sure you order two sizes larger.

I ordered this in a size extra large, I literally cannot button it. It is approximately a US size medium. Only give it to stars because the fabric actually seems decent, but I know if I order a larger size it is going to be much too long.

Really happy with the look, feel and fit of this khaki tweed vest. I got the size Medium. The back waist strap barely needed any adjustment. In case it helps other people figure out which size to get I'll share my stats. I'm male, about 5'7", 165lbs. 40" chest, 34" waist according to my measuring tape. Although all my pants are labeled as size 31" waist (how does that work?)

This product runs small so I recommend going up a size. If your bigger than a 2x shirt don't bother as 3x only about the size of a 2x.

I really love my vest definitely fits fantastic. Make sure you size up mine does fit alittoe lose but with some adjustment I got it just right

I had to return this item only because I had to get another color. Dang it. I really liked this. The fabric is heavy and well made. Great vest. The price was really good for this quality.

This is exactly what I wanted. I am in love with the color, it fits fine with the color suit and ties I have. I wanted a waistcoat in a different color than gray; I tried tweed brown but it did not go well with the purple tie and the brown of my shoes made it look odd without the jacket on. I was going to get tweed black which is dark grey but it didnt seem like it would fit well with the light gray suit. This green jacket is perfect for me.

I purchased a extra large and should have gotten a XXL. I normally get a great fit in XL so I think you should purchase a size larger than your normal size. Having said that, the vest is great looking and well-made.

6'3" 220# I ordered an XL like I wear all of my other clothes. This XL is a little snug. Quality is decent. It is a tad short with pants, however, I bought it to wear with my kilt and it is the perfect length with it.

I paired it with my suit for my wedding, and the fit was exactly how I wanted. I’m a pretty slim guy and the adjustable back was very helpful to get the fit I like from it. Would definitely recommend

The color and pattern is nice. The quality of the fabric and stitching is good. However, they run small in my opinion. I'm 6' tall and weigh approximately 200 lbs. I ordered the XL which should have had extra room but I could not button the front of the vest and had to leave it open. I should have ordered a size up and got the XXL. I will need to loose about 20 lbs to fit into this, ha ha. So I recommend the vest but make sure you order a size up because it seems to be a slim or tight fit.

All the measurements said he was a 2xl. We ordered a 3xl so it would be comfortable and it was to small.Best to go 2 sizes up.

My wife and I are both on our second marriage. Neither of us wanted anything super formal. The three boys and I wore these vest with a white shirt and bow tie verses renting tux. The boys loved them (16, 21, and 28 years old). We found them to be true to size and very well made. I ended up ordering a second one in a different color to wear on the honeymoon vs. a sportscoat.

So my husband is a big guy, he's not small but you can deff see him in a crowd. In the picture he is the one in the upper left. I bought this vest for him for our wedding. I first ordered the 2 XL as that is his normal size but this was to tight in the waist and you can't loosen it really either. So I exchanged it for the 3XL and that fit him perfectly!
