It comes with no instructions, manufacturer contact information, or software

This has to be one of, if not the most complex piece of equipment I have ever used. It claims to be compatible with Windows, but good luck finding drivers for it because we all know that if it runs on Windows it needs a driver. Good luck finding a manufacturer. By the way, when you arrive all you get is a very plasticky DAC in a baggy zip lock, a USB-C to USB micro adapter, and that's it. No paper manual, no explanation about charging or anything like that. Excellent basic DAC and amplifier

Surprisingly this item was exactly as described. IA/B tested it with my Lenovo laptop sound card and my Marantz NR1406 receiver's built-in DAC/op amp. It sounded better. I have my girlfriend blind A/Bed and she also chose what sounded best. I absolutely recommend it. The plastic case is weird and ugly, but you get two great hi-fi chips for a great price. I use it between my computer and my receiver. It also works well as a headphone amplifier.
