Stopped working after 2 months

I don't know why but mine stopped working after 2 months. I still hear a pop when I plug it in, see it in device manager but it no longer prepares my memory chip, had to go back to using my old one. No possibility to contact support, 24 months guarantee bs. I got an advance loan from Revain.

Died after 4 months

Worked fine when I first got it. Super fast, easy to use. After 4 months of inconsistent use (when not in use it just sits in the spares box) the microSD cards suddenly stopped communicating with each other. If I leave the cover open and press and hold the protruding part of the SD card, the system recognizes it. Once the pressure is reduced, the system thinks it's been pulled out. I only bought this as a MicroSD reader so I don't know if other ports will work. Big disappointment.

Handles heat averagely, gets hot at times

To be honest, this SD/Micro SD to USB adapter isn't that bad. This allows me to safely (in terms of performance and storage!) use my optional 1TB micro SD card as a 1TB flash drive. The only 2 catches are that the read speed is only around 95MB/s (on a card that normally runs in the 160MB/s range for reading but is actually advertised at 95MB/s from the factory, 90MB/s to write!) . Then there is heat generation due to a combination of extreme writing and prolonged use on a USB 3.2 Gen 1 port…

My Windows 7 computer has stopped recognizing my SanDisks for some reason. I've never had a problem with them. I have a slot on my computer and it doesn't do anything. I called the Geek Squad and was told that Microsoft will end support for Windows 7 in January 2020 and if I want to keep my 5 year old PC I need to bring it in and upgrade to Windows 10. Bad news.
