Spring smaller than ordered

Ordered 5.5" springs. Arrived on time in original manufacturer packaging and marked 5.5". Springs are not actually 5.5" long, they measure 5.25". from the longest part of the hook on each side. We were able to use them, but that made installation a lot more difficult as we had to stretch them an additional 1/4". If you install on a trampoline like we did, you know how difficult it is looking to replace a spring with an exact replacement spring, I hope they hold up to the stress of extra…

I think they should be revoked by security! Do not buy!

It's dangerous. I've had them for about 1 year (only used maybe 8 months because the mat and springs are removed in the winter months) and they broke! While my kids were jumping, and I'm not kidding, the feather flew up in the air and literally sliced through my friend's son's chest! Then, of course, the feather fell onto the mat and cut a hole in it! You can not do it. Now I have to buy a new trampoline because I don't want to risk those cheap springs with a new mat. Update: Some springs broke as other reviews said they didn't seem to be holding up the mark well. . This may be the last time I order springs that don't seem to be holding up well and we had 3 or 4 that just broke as others have posted in their reviews.
