Disposable brushes on brushes

They're only good for projects you don't need. You shed hair all the time. The bristles are uneven and do not hold color well. If you only need brushes for the brushes themselves then this is a great price. If you really want to paint with your brushes, look elsewhere. Despite their name, they are made in China.

Pros
  • Fun
Cons
  • Unsafe

Great brushes, I use them for all my projects.

I have used these brushes for painting with chalk, stain, acrylic and other types of paint on all types of materials. The stain is a little harder to wash off, but that's to be expected. A few bristles came out too, but that's to be expected - overall they hold up very well and are easy to clean. Much better than crappy foam brushes that fall apart after one use, but they give more streaks because they're bristles.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Quality

Cheap. Only suitable for small jobs with subsequent disposal.

These are cheap brushes, both in price and quality. The bristles fall out quite often. I used them to identify rubbed off paint on the walls and then removed them immediately. For this purpose they have worked well. If your expectations match the quality, this may be enough. They are not suitable for a medium to large project as you will spend half the time picking out the lost bristles from the paint.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Not sure

Great Variety, Quality and Price, Favorite Oil Painting Brushes

I bought this for oil painting on canvas and absolutely love it. Great price for a really good range and number of sizes. I've been using them regularly for about 6 months with minimal hair loss, but at this price I won't complain even if a hair or two falls out. I've also lost hair on expensive brushes. I get nice smooth effects with it when painting wet-on-wet, the smallest ones are great for shading. I'm surprised how many people consider them disposable! Based on the last 6 months I expect…

Pros
  • Kit Includes: 6-1/2" wide, 6-1" wide, 4-1 1/2" wide, 4-2" wide

cheap china hairbrushes

Yes, they shed, especially when used aggressively. I just "comb them out" if that's a problem. Made from real porcelain (not from China) pig bristles. Everything is natural. They are excellent for binding and emulsifying tung oil and beeswax (beeswax + D-limonene). I can usually use a brush more than once but they are very inexpensive and designed to be used and thrown away. They make great pastry brushes and can be brushed with mayonnaise or softened butter. The use cases are endless. For…

Pros
  • Smooth brushed wood handles and pewter tips
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Turn wood into art when you do the following.

I use them for woodworking or painting. First I used them for my ARTWORK BUT if you do this: 1. Open the package and take out ALL.2. Put them ALL in the dishwasher, yes the dishwasher, to run them through the dish cart. DISABLE ALL HEAT DRYING CYCLES. VERY IMPORTANT!3. Hang them up to dry. (I used a drill with a drill to make the holes and I pulled the skin through those holes. I help them dry faster OR use a floral "foam" or primer to cover them up pierce/pierce and plant the sides all…

Pros
  • Bristle lengths from 1-1/2" to 1-3/4"
Cons
  • Some little things
