UPDATE: April 2015: I've been using this scale for 6 years and one day the calibration is "lost". Last year it was 0.02 g. It took me a minute to recalibrate my calibration weight and it has returned to zero every time since. Annoyingly, the automatic switch-off is even shorter. This is a good scale for the price. I have several coins that I wanted to study and catalogue. Part of my job is to measure the weight and guess what the coins are made of. The least destructive way is to measure specific gravity. This requires a very accurate scale. I tried three scales. It was a double panning manual scale and a single scale with a very cheap electronic scale. The really cheap one wasn't very good, so I won't mention it here. Received today with a set of M2 calibration weights. I don't have a good way of telling if my new scale or calibration weights are accurate, but I have found that these scales read within about 20mg of the advertised 100mg to 20mg weight of each calibrator (or group of). . I have found that it will not accept my weighed 10mg mass, but will level off exactly at 20mg given enough time.
