US Seal Manufacturing PS1000 Assembly Review

The addon said it would fit my pump but it's too big. There are too many issues with returns so it sits in my bin awaiting the time I can use it.

A huge amount of water came out of my pump. After disassembly, I found that the ceramic shaft seal had dried out. Replaced with this one and worked like a charm. Great fit.

Very easy installation, very durable material. The latter lasted about 10 years before leaking. I usually put a record label on every car, pool motor, air conditioner, and water heater and attach it to the unit with plastic. Even water heater, home sprinkler, garage door maintenance, I've done a backup record, balance checked, spring adjustment.

I usually take the equipment to my local pool shop for repairs but it gets too expensive. After a nasty leak in the filter and booster pump, I decided to fix it myself. The pool shop sells the same part for about four times as much. Using a YouTube video showing how to do this, this was one of the easiest pool equipment repairs I've ever done. and both leaks are gone!

Had to buy this after using another kit that included one of these but I installed the ceramic ring part back to front and tore the whole thing. I installed this correctly and it works great. When installing, ensure that the black metal surface attached to the spring only touches the white ceramic part of the other part. Thank goodness it wasn't an expensive item.
