Much better than a carpenter's pencil

Bought these for work in construction. Purchased along with an X-acto wall mount pencil sharpener that I can take from job to job. Both get used multiple times a day. Pencil lasts forever til you gotta grab a new one. And they're white. Will be buying more.

Pros
  • I have only sharpened two of these pencils, Seem to be top quality and well built Would buy again.
Cons
  • May not be compatible with certain types of marking tools or pens

Difficult to get excited about a pencil, but I am

These RevMark Jumbo Round Pencil are great. I have sharpened a half dozen of them and put them in a couple of toolboxes, in my tool cabinet and on several worktables and shelves around the place. Some I took to a very sharp point and others I left rather blunted for rough use marking wood to cut. They are tougher than regular pencils and the increased size makes them much better for working with. I like them a lot and plan to buy more when these are used up. Heck, I may buy more just to put…

Pros
  • Not what I wanted. Returned.
Cons
  • breaks soo easy cant sharpen

Just like elementary school

I love these pencils, they remind me of the days back in elementary school when we used fat pencils. I use them mainly for woodworking. The lead is sturdy enough to write on wood without breaking. I never liked those flat construction pencils, even though when put down they would not roll away. Plus the fat pencils have a big eraser for the occasional mistake, which the flat ones don't have.

Pros
  • I bought them a few months ago and I'm still on the first one, I use it everyday
Cons
  • Black lead may not be compatible with certain types of paper

Best Carpenter Pencils Ever

I love these new pencils They stay sharp longer They are strong and don't break in my pocket and are very good for carpentry work

Pros
  • Needed a good shop pencil for my shop. Carpenters pencil didn't hack it.
Cons
  • Packaging may not be eco-friendly

Pencils - really aren't they all the same? Nope!

I do a lot of different DYI stuff on the farm from rough carpentry to finish. These pencils are perfect. The leads aren't alreadly broken only to be discovered when trying to shapen them. You know what I mean! Grrr. I can't comment on the erasers but I guess they're there if you need em.

Pros
  • Just right for. Little hands
Cons
  • Save your money. The red pencils are awful. The slightest pressure and the tip snaps. Every time!

Great pencils best in my review

A little costly but the best pencil I have ever had in my woodworking shop. They mark great, easy to hold, and easy to see. I'll buy again.

Pros
  • Great Pencil
Cons
  • Works as should but lead is soft.

Easier to sharpen than flat carpenter pencils.

Used in workshop/shed. Can sharpen in old fashioned sharpener with the big holes. I always break the lead in carpenter pencils when sharpening with a knife.

Pros
  • Na
Cons
  • Cedar wood construction may be too soft for some users

Good support and a good pencil

The pencils are solid, well made, sharpen easily and are a good fit around the shop ! They will lose a fine point quickly but a few twists in a pocket sharpener and they’re good to goI commented about the lack of any identifying marks in my first review and was surprised when an email from Greg explained the reasons why. A company that takes the time to correspond and follow up with proof is becoming a rare thing anymore so I encourage anyone looking for good quality US MADE pencils to buy…

Pros
  • It’s a bunch of big red shop pencils. Nothings wrong with them, therefor, this is a perfect purchase.
Cons
  • Lack of eraser may not be practical for students or those who frequently make corrections

Construction quality

Well made without gaps in the graphite as some pencils have. We use these in our woodworking shop all of the time. Very pleased.

Pros
  • Very good product, when I need more I will buy again, I do recommend this product to anyone.
Cons
  • Red color may not be suitable for professional settings

Great pencil: my feedback

Great pencil. Does what its supposed to do. Slightly larger diameter as described i purposely bought these to carve Santa faces into and they are not good for that due to the true pencil shape found under the top layer. Otherwise a great pencil

Pros
  • Delivered the next day, good quality product.
Cons
  • Limited color choice may not appeal to some users
