Works well when properly connected.

Everything works when properly connected. 1) you need exactly 2 thin CR2016 batteries in one key fob, so that in total there is 6 Volts of power on the key fob, and not one similar thick 3 Volt. Then the remote control works fine - it works for me even from the 17th floor, the car is under the windows. 2) I hesitated to look for the exact wiring diagram to make it work. Many write that they closed the circuit from a blunt connection of different wires and the whole circuit burned out. In their

Pros
  • The keychain even reaches the 17th floor.
Cons
  • Haven't found it yet.

Great deal and no hassles

Get it today, connect to the internet, get instructions and program in less than 20 seconds. My dealer asked over $100 for just one of these! Great offer and no problem! Let's see if they keep working, I hope so! As a side note, I walked into the store and my old remote didn't work, I had to use the key to get into the car. You have to program all remote controls, new and old, at the same time within 20 seconds!

Easy to program, externally almost true to the original.

When they arrived I opened the box and programmed both remotes to 07 Freestyle within 15 minutes. For Ford, it's very simple. A quick Google search will show you how. Everything seems solid so far, if they start disappointing or anything crazy I'll update. In the last picture, the original factory key is on the right and on top of one of the new ones. Externally almost identical to the original.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Negative impression

Very easy to program

It took only 2 minutes to program both fobs. You must program BOTH at the same time. The only reason it took a VERY long time (2 minutes) is that if you program just one fob and then program another, your first fob will disconnect. You must press EACH BUTTON on BOTH fobs at the same time. I didn't understand how it was written. Turn the key on/off 5 times, then press any button on the fob. on BOTH keychains. I think it's 8x more for the F350 and up. It is really that easy.

Incomplete information

The description does not say that your car should be able to program itself. When it appears, you'll see a small card telling you to take it to a dealer or locksmith if your car isn't autoprogrammed. Haven't tried it yet but it's less than impressive and looks like it should in the description. Typical weak information usually found on many of the products available here. Update: Even though this advertises that it only works if you ask someone to program it. There sellers are better!

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

MONEY TOTAL LOSS, CHINESE SIGN

I PURCHASED BY LIST FOR OUR CAR, FOLLOWED EVERY STEP OF CODING, NOTHING WORKS WITH TWO REMOTE CONTROLS. LISTING SHOWS THE THREE KEY REMOTE CONTROLS FOR OUR YEAR, MAKE AND MODEL, IT IS SHOWN FROM ABOVE, THIS IS SUITABLE FOR YOUR VEHICLE. ALSO THE BATTERY WAS NOT PLACED ON BOTH REMOTE CONTROLS PURCHASED, THERE ARE TWO NEGATIVE CONTACTS AND ONE SIDE CONTACT THAT SHOULD CONTACT PLUS + AS THE BATTERY MOVES IN A CIRCUIT, NOT FIXED AND THE CONTACT DOES NOT CONTACT PRE-PLUS. NEVER WORK. on…

Works great and easy to program.

I carry my 16 year old keyless remote with me. At this point it was glued and secured with copper wire. Then it finally fell off my keychain. I didn't realize the loss, so she's gone. I was afraid that I would have to go through the dealer and buy it for a lot of money. Unfortunately I found this on Revain. When I received it, I put off programming because I was afraid it would be difficult. Wow, I was wrong! I followed the instructions and watched the video I was referred to in the…

Only 1 key to start my car!

Can't use it because I can't get anyone, not even a locksmith, to make it work. I bought a key that only opens the doors but does not start. I hired and paid a locksmith to make the keys and I spent over $200 to purchase these items, a key maker at Ace and a locksmith who can't get clickers or keys to charge for. Crazy things. Ford makes it for $150, but I spent all my money doing what the seller told me to do. And presumably a 1998 Ford Mustang shouldn't have chips. Wrong information AGAIN! I…

Absolutely works! (Check your car first!)

First of all. Go to Remotesremotes.com and enter your car's make, model and year in the search box for programming instructions to ensure you can program the remote yourself BEFORE you buy it. There are detailed instructions for each specific make/model on how to program them yourself. My Ford Escape took less than 20 seconds, but my wife's Hyundai Elantra requires me to take out the alarm panel behind the dash and do a few more things to program it. They work, just check their website first…
