It worked and it was long enough!

Used to connect our laser printer to my computer because the wireless connection kept dropping (when everything else was fine). I needed a good long cable. It worked on the first try and for long enough. Arrived quickly too!

Ideal for USB gear for my home studio.

I got 2 of them yesterday and I'm already using them. One connects to my M-Audio Axiom 49 USB MIDI controller, the other to my Alesis Nitro Electronic Drum Kit, which is across my room. I thought I might have latency issues due to the long cable, but that's not the case. Great product and purchase.

Cable not suitable for audio

Purchased for use with an audio interface for live performance. When plugged into the interface, the audio quality sounded poor, with a loud crackle every few seconds. In the end I decided on the cable. Used an old printer cable and the sound quality was much better, no cracks. Might work well for printers and midi controllers, but I wouldn't recommend it for audio unless I've just got a faulty one.

Does not work with Roland RD-800

This cable may work well with other devices but not with the Roland RD-800. I've tried reconnecting (several times), restarting the synth, and even overwriting the homemade Windows 7 driver with the downloaded Roland driver (which the RD-800 couldn't see). So there was no connection. So I'll be back. For your health.
