🔌 Enhanced USB IR Repeater - Infrared Remote Control Extender System with 1 Receiver and 1 Emitter (10 FT/ 3M) Review

Not much to say about this other than it does exactly what it's supposed to do. My soundbar is blocking my TV's IR sensor and now I have no problem controlling my TV. The cables are long enough and even have double-sided tape to keep the receiver in place.

This is a great way to repeat IR [infrared] commands from a cabinet remote. This device works well and has great sensitivity. The only thing I don't like is the green LED that indicates power is on. It would be nice if the light only flashed when IR was detected.

This allowed me to turn the TV on and off from across the room with the TV remote, but the wired remote only turned the TV off and controlled the volume from the other side of the room. I was hoping that the wired remote would turn on and off and control the volume, but at least I can now control the volume and turn off the TV with the wired remote.

My TV's remote is on the bottom of the unit and didn't always accept commands from the coffee table remote. With this device I simply placed the receiver on top of a shelf and a tiny emitter under the TV next to the TV receiver and a USB power cable into the socket on the TV. Problem solved. No delay. However, the device does not help to turn on the TV because the USB port of the TV does not receive power. Spirit. So I just reach for the remote control to turn on the power.

I have a soundbar that sits a little behind my TV and unfortunately the base of the TV is blocking the sensor on the soundbar. I put this receiver in front of the TV and the repeater in front of the soundbar sensor works like a charm.
