Originally received with 2 tiny nicks in the coating and was concerned about future rust and wrote to the company. They sent me a replacement basket and it arrived in perfect condition. I've been using this dish rack daily for a little over a year (we don't have a dishwasher) and have been completely satisfied with its performance - no signs of rust or anything .
