Rated Voltage: DC 32V; Rated Current: 400A. Golden tone plated metal sheet construction fuse, durable finish and conductivity. ANL fuse is widely applied to inverter, car audio amplifier and other high current applications. Check your original size of fuse block before buying: body diameter, body length, rated current, rated voltage.

These are NOT 400A fuses

Although clearly marked 400A I have used a shunt to measure the current through the fuse and I have measured that the fuses read consistently between 270 A and 290 A burn out.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Slightly blown

Couldn't handle 110A continuous

Used in my 12v photovoltaic RV I ran the AC unit for half an hour to check it and the fuse was hot. Checked - the voltage has dropped sharply. At 100 amps it generated a lot of heat. I replaced it with a new one from the batch, it was better but it still got very hot. Do not buy

Pros
  • Electrical
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

I bought these as a spare for one in my camper van. I blew up three of them on short notice and started investigating what was going on. Long story short I had to remove this item and replace it with a 'proper' fuse rated to work with a 3000w inverter/charger. Since then I do not have problems anymore. They just didn't fit the job I asked them to do. I can't comment on their quality as they just didn't work in my application. If you are looking for a fuse to protect your large inverter/charger…

Pros
  • Fuses and accessories
Cons
  • Out of date
