Less expensive than buying a new wiring harness

My car's wiring harness melted onto a lightbulb; The only option was to replace the entire suspension. This product saved me money. Just match the positives and negatives of the new tag and bingo like new.

This was exactly the piece I needed. old plug.

This is exactly what I needed. The old plug and the bulb merged together, so the only way out was to replace the plug. Used butt connectors to connect the new connector so it went very quickly.

I was looking for a two wire outlet and no local place, big or small, could provide it.

Your 2004 Jaguar X Type lists a connector for the H1 headlight bulb lead. However, our car had two sockets. The internet suggests that if the bulb goes out fairly often, the socket will melt and there are many alternative wiring suggestions for using a single wire socket, including one man who soldered an alligator clip to a wire and attached it to the lamp's retaining clip . It seems easier to just buy the right plug here and I have three left over in case it happens again.
