According to my experience this product is a complete waste of money. The toggle is flimsy and could break any minute .The triangular shape is also not suitable for certain workholding needs. On the positive side, it is made of Industrial and Scientific material but that's not enough to justify its use. I would not recommend buying this product..

It sounds like a big 8x5x2 bar in size, well I don't know what 8 and 5 are, but the 2 inch number is correct. It is about 2 inches tall when fully open and can be extended up to 5 inches. Mounting holes are also an issue as each screw head is too thick for the latch to securely close, only rivets.
