My Bissel Zing didn't have enough power to run the thing on short pile carpets (brush stopped). Luckily my central vacuum has good suction and the brush works really well with it. It's fairly easy to clean - it has a hinged door for cleaning the turbine, just open it and dust with a vacuum cleaner. This is a male threaded adapter for standard 32mm (1-1/4") diameter vacuum cleaner hoses. This little detail was a real find! I recently bought a Kenmore canister vacuum to replace our 40 year old model. I had to buy extra nozzles but it turned out they didn't fit. After only using this brush head for cleaning for about 15-20 hours for about 3 months, the turbines stop working and the brush stops spinning. I just received this attachment and I didn't know what to expect. I really didn't think the wind brush would rotate at all because it felt like it had to be rotated by hand.
